Slow Cooked Beef & Beer Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- Drizzle olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 large carrot
- 1 Large potato
- 3 tomatoes
- 300grams diced beef
- 1 bottle Old Engine Oil
- 300ml Beef stock
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Rosemary
- Chopped Parsley
- Pinch Chili powder, salt and pepper to season
- 2 tablespoons corn flour
Preparation
- Finely dice the onions, garlic and tomatoes and place into slow cooker
- Sautee beef in a frying pan to seal in juices and add to slow cooker
- Roughly chop carrots and potato and add to slow cooker
- Add Old Engine Oil and stock and finally all the seasoning and herbs and sieved corn flour to thicken
- Cook slowly for at least 4 hours – even longer for a better flavour.
