Slow Cooked Beef & Beer Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • Drizzle olive oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 Large potato
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 300grams diced beef
  • 1 bottle Old Engine Oil
  • 300ml Beef stock
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Pinch Chili powder, salt and pepper to season
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour

Preparation

  1. Finely dice the onions, garlic and tomatoes and place into slow cooker
  2. Sautee beef in a frying pan to seal in juices and add to slow cooker
  3. Roughly chop carrots and potato and add to slow cooker
  4. Add Old Engine Oil and stock and finally all the seasoning and herbs and sieved corn flour to thicken
  5. Cook slowly for at least 4 hours – even longer for a better flavour.
